Official Announcement (CMSA-COFI Merger)

Dear CMSA Members and all those it may concern,

This is an official announcement regarding the merger between Canadian Mill Services Association(CMSA) and Council of Forest Industries (COFI) quality control, inspection and education services. 

As of the end of this year, COFI will no longer be providing these services, and will be transferring authority to use the COFI and ILMA grading stamps to the Canadian Mill Services Association (CMSA).

For current CMSA members there will be no changes to the policies and procedures that are currently taking place nor any changes to your current fees. The only change a few facilities may notice is due to some potential overlap with supervisors, you may be introduced to a new supervisor in the coming months.
