SUPERVISION & WORKPLACE SAFETY COURSE

This course has two modules addressing both supervision and safety in the workplace.

SUPERVISION IN THE WORKPLACE

This module is useful to equip new supervisors with tools to manage a work crew, and to equip experienced supervisors with new strategies and methods to communicate to the ever-changing workforce.

This module will cover:

  • Due diligence
  • Communication
  • Professionalism
  • Training strategies
  • Interactive discussions of real situations and experiences

The objective is to prepare the student for confident, effective supervision.

SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE

This module is designed to aid Managers, Supervisors and Safety Committee members as they look to create or support a safe work culture in their work environment.

This module will cover:

  • Building an effective safety committee
  • Workplace training and competencies
  • Supervisor’s role within a safety program
  • Hazard and Risk assessments
  • Case studies designed to target current issues or areas of concerns

The objective of this course is to give the student a proven, successful strategy to achieve a safe workplace and encourage a safe work culture.
