The new CMSA Timber Grading Class is a one-day class designed to teach students on the grading of Beams and Stringer and Post and Timbers.
It is recommended that only students who already possess a Lumber Grading Ticket should take this class as we will not be reviewing terminology or reviewing basic principles of lumber grading that a new student should learn first.
At the end of the two lessons, a 30 question Theory Exam and a 16-piece Practical Exam will take place.
For those students who already have a CMSA Lumber Grading Ticket (obtained within the last 15 years), if they get a passing mark (70% or higher) on the Timber exams, they will receive a new Lumber Grading Ticket which lists B & S and P & T as a successfully completed item.
Contact CMSA to reserve your spot for our next Timber Grading Class.
The Member price of $300 and the non-Member price of $425 includes the Graders Notebook for Timbers and our new colorized Grade Tables for Beams & Stringers and Post & Timbers.
